When does the Crawl take place?

The Roc Bookcrawl takes place from August 15th-August 23rd. 

Please confirm a bookstore’s hours on their website or social media during the event!

How do I participate?

Visit as many participating bookstores as you can from August 15th-23rd.

You plan your own Crawl, if you only manage to visit one bookstore during the Crawl, that’s okay! We hope you can visit others at a later date!

At each store you visit during the crawl get your booklet marked by a staff member. Each visit equals one entry to win a prize bundle! 

You will have to log your visits using our online form by Wednesday, August 26th to be entered into the prize drawing.

If you’re selected as a winner, you will need to provide a picture of your marked booklet. 

If you lost your booklet or didn’t have one and you’re selected as a winner, you will need to provide either receipts or pictures taken at the bookstores from sometime between August 15th-August 23rd!

How do I get a Booklet?

Stores will have a limited number of booklets. If you are able to print your own, please do! Coming Soon. 

Do I need to make a purchase at each store to get my booklet marked?

No, but we hope you return or spread the word about all the stores you visit! Indie bookstores need your support to thrive. 

Future purchases & visits, telling your friends about us, and social media tags & shoutouts are all great ways to support us!

What if I can only visit one store?

We certainly hope you can visit more than one bookstore during the crawl, but visiting just one is enough for an entry to win ! Be sure to complete the online submission form by Wednesday, August 26th to be entered. 

What are the prizes?

They are still being collected! We hope to have gift cards & more from local businesses.

Are all Indie Bookstores in and around Rochester, NY participating in the Crawl?

We’ve done our best to reach out to all Indie Bookstores in the area, but may not have heard back by the deadline or even may have missed some!
